Michelangelo goes nuts!

There are as many different opinions on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as there are fans. However there is one thing that most can agree on.

Raph is the dark one.

Well why can't goofy old Michealangelo get in on some of that action too?!

I saw a picture in a magazine of some music guy holding two pairs of nunchucks. I knew then and there that I would make him into a Ninja Turtle. So I used that pose as inspiration for this drawing.

The hunched over pose with his eyes wondering off to the side give him a really angry look, while the twisted smile makes Michealangelo's personality show through with an extra slight hint of craziness. It's really a messed up expression, and it's meant to be.

The blue glow is just there for the sake of things. Kind of gives a night time look. Essentially I add those kinds of coloured lights because they make the image look less like something from a colouring book. Not enough fan-artists do that, in my view.

This was finished early fall 2000. Apparently now it's Michelangelo, not Michealangelo as it has been for years. Whatever.
