This one... won't be back!

This one was done way back in November '98. It was one of the last computer assisted drawings that were featured on the original version of SykoGrafix. Looking at it now, I can see that my artwork has come long way, however I'm still quite happy with how both the original black & white inked drawing and the comic book style colouring done via Photoshop.

This was one of my first somewhat successful attempts at using Photoshop and you can tell that I was a beginner at this point by my obvious overuse of the lens flare filter. An all too common rookie mistake. Otherwise, I like it a lot, so it gets a place here.

For those of you that don't know, Robocop Vs Terminator was a 4 issue comic book series written by Frank Miller and published by Dark Horse sometime in the early 90's. As far as comic book crossovers go, this one was pretty big at the time. Much like Aliens Vs Predator, there were even video games. I own the SNES version. No action figure line, though. The whole thing was pretty cool, and probably under rated nowadays.

At risk of spoiling the whole thing (though it's a little late for that now!),I'll tell you what happened. Robocop kicked Terminator ass. Oh yeah.
