Fighting Evil by Moonlight...

Well, I can't say that I'm a huge fan of Sailor Moon, but I do have a certain respect for it. And of course, in being an illustrator, I take nothing for granted and so I can learn and be inspired by everything. So, I'll watch it for the visual learning experience.

Ok, and for the girls too.

This was drawn as a very special Christmas gift for one of my cousins. She really liked it. I'm pretty happy with it too, especially since I finished the entire thing in a very short time over two nights. It's pretty close to being on model to the animation character design, but as usual there is a bit of my own style injected in there as well, especially in regards to the thicker line work. Certain things could be better, and I'm well aware of them, but all in all I like this a lot.
