Deedlit from Record of Lodoss Wars

This is an example I did as part of a series of Anime painting lessons I teach.
I'm not really big on the whole fantasy role playing game thing, but I do like Record of Lodoss Wars. I even had the pleasure of listening to creator Ryo Mizuno speak at a convention in Toronto once. Deedlit the high elf is such a great, classic character design, and so I did my best to capture that with this picture.
I used a cool colour scheme with lots of blue, which kind of makes things look magical.
