TMNT Leonardo Painting

Spring 2011, Watercolor & colored pencil. Painting of Leonardo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, done as an example for a class I was teaching. The challenge was to make it a nighttime scene without losing Leo's blue bandana in the background, so I added gray to the sky.
