Raphael Painting

Winter 2007, watercolor & colored pencil. Here's a painting of Ninja Turtles' Raphael, mostly based on how he appears in the TMNT animated movie. It's not too bad, but what I like the most is the dark, night-time atmosphere it has with the richness of the colors and the rim light from the side. There's a splatter effect applied with paint to make the stars. That's always fun. © Nickelodeon, Imagi Back to Illustration.
