Transformers Animated Optimus Prime

Spring 2009, Pencil, Manga Studio, Illustrator & Photoshop. Here's the Autobot leader Optimus Prime. This was my first time drawing in the style of the Transformers Animated cartoon series. For something that looks so simple, it took a long time and many tweaks to make sure I had gotten the style looking right. It's not exact, but it's pretty close, and I learned a lot from it. I've come to really enjoy working in the style, and Transformers Animated was a really cool show with an interesting take on Optimus Prime's character.
