Vash the Stampede from Trigun

Fall 2002, watercolor & colored pencil. This is an example I did as part of a series of Anime painting lessons I teach. Vash the Stampede is a very cool character that is easily recognizable amongst anime fans. Because of the wild west style of the show, I used a warm colour pallet to give the feeling of a hot desert sun. © Yasuhiro Nightow Back to Illustration.
