Ninja Paintbrush Kid

DESCRIPTION

This guy, loosely based on the style of character design from a very popular ninja related anime and manga series that will go unnamed, was put together as a promotional image for the classes I teach. I just wanted to come up with a quick drawing of some sort of character holding a paintbrush to evoke the idea of artwork, and this young ninja is what eventually evolved from it. I wanted it to be dynamic with lots of expression. Came out pretty well, I think.

Finished Winter of 2006 in Adobe Photoshop.
