Eggciting Prehistoric Action

Another Ontario College of Art and Design assignment, this one involving a character lifting something much too large for them to carry, all rendered in greys using coloured pencils on grey paper. So I came up with a little story about a short caveman who steals a gigantic dinosaur egg while a pissed off dino-mama looks on. The dinosaur was a lot of fun too draw. I was not fond off the restrictions placed on the medium, however. I'd rather have used something other than just coloured pencil on its own.

I don't think the teacher liked it very much. But he didn't like much of anything, so screw him.

Finished Winter 2003. This is a digital photo of the original piece, which is too large to fit on a scanner, so it's not the high quality image that I would like it to be.
